Northumberland Sold Stories (Week 15 of 2025)

[00:00:00] Good morning, good evening, good afternoon. Welcome to Northumberland Sold Stories. This is Week 15 of 2025 and I am so excited to take you through some of the top sold stories of this week.

[00:00:15] I'm proud to say that there have been just over 30 sales in this area and this is not a high selling area. This is not like Durham where there was over 130 sales this week. This is an area that is a little bit quieter naturally.

[00:00:35] And for that reason and many more, you do want to make sure that your property is standing out on the list. You do not want to make, you do not want to be just another one of those listings that is just being advertised locally.

[00:01:12] You definitely want to be part of that, the spring sellers club or the summer sellers club. These are the two most popular times to be on the market, especially for some of your amazing properties. So let's start off with the top 10 and we're going to start off here with a property that sold in the Port Hope area. This property was listed at $799, two bedroom, two bath, and it was on the market for about 30 days.

[00:01:41] Next on the list was a detached two plus three bedroom, listed at $879, on the market about 50 days. Next on the list was a property that sold in the Port Hope area. Once again, very popular area, big time demand. $949 was the list price for this and it was on the market for 25 days, three bedroom, two bath home.

[00:02:12] Following that, a wonderful property in the Brighton area. Again, an area that I'm very familiar with having vacationed near there and having sold homes in this area over the years. Next on the list is listed at $1.05, listed at $1.05, on the market only 20 days, three plus two bed, three bath home.

[00:02:33] Next is a very popular area on my tours in this area, which is Coburg. This was a listing that was on the market for $1.1, sold in 18 days. A detached two plus two bedroom bungalow with three baths.

[00:02:50] Next on the list is a property that was in the Coburg area. This property was a listed at $1.2, detached four plus two beds, four baths, and just on the market for 31 days.

[00:03:05] Next on the list was another wonderful property in the Coburg area. This property would easily be a $2 million home in most cities. It was listed at $1.3 million and it just sold in that range. It was a large detached five bed, three bath home. Absolutely beautiful. Next on the list was a Trent Hills property that sold, which is not always on the top list, but this week it is.

[00:03:33] $1.5 is what that was listed for. And this was a more of a farm two-story property. So with somebody looking for a different kind of property, three plus one bed, two baths, and just over 30 days on the market.

[00:03:51] And lastly, in the Hamilton Township area, a place that I've sent many of my clients over the years. This is a property that was listed for $1.8 million, detached home, four plus two beds, six baths.

[00:04:05] And this was on the market for almost 60 days, but it has now found a new buyer. So congratulations to all of you that have bought and sold this week and all of you who are signed up with me for spring and summer selling.
